Service Information


SUNDAY:
10:00 a.m. - Worship Service

7:00 p.m. - Mid-week service
 

During Service

In order to minimize distractions during the service we ask that you please turn off your cell phones and pagers. Please do not move around the sanctuary after the service has begun. If you need to leave the main sanctuary during the service for any reason you may reenter the main sanctuary, but we will ask you to sit in seats provided along the back wall, or you may remain in the lobby until service is completed. Again, we do ask that you are sensitive to those around you in this room. We do this to keep distractions at a minimum as we study God's Word.

Overflow Room

Our lobby is available for those who may need to leave the service at various times. There is a TV monitor that shows the service live for your viewing. Again, we do ask that you are sensitive to those around you in this room.

Communion

Join us the second Wednesday evening of every month as we partake in a special time of communion as the body of Christ.


Welcome Center

The Welcome Center is located in the foyer leading into the main sanctuary. If you have a question relating to any aspect of our ministry, please stop by and someone will be able to help answer questions you may have.

Current Events

The current events are posted weekly in our church bulletin, which are given out on Sunday mornings. Additionally you may pick one up in the church office or in the welcome center at any time the church or office is open.

Audio Messages

All main services are recorded and available for purchase of $3.00. They are available immediately after the service at the bookstore.

Visitors/First Time Guests

If you are a first time visitor with children, you are permitted to sit in the main service on along the back row for initial visit. For subsequent visits, parents are requested to check their children into Children's Ministry. If you need to know more about our children's classes, please consult our children's ministry pastor.

Calvary Bookstore and He-Brew

Our bookstore and He-Brews Cafe are open before and after each service. We encourage you to stop by, pick up a coffee or tea, then browse through the variety of Bibles, message CDs and Christian books and music.

Nursing Mother's Room

The Nursing Mother's Room is well equipped with changing table(s) and comfortable cribs. In the adjoining room, Mothers are able to watch the main service live via a TV monitor. This provides a great way for Mothers to view and hear the service and also attend to the personal needs of the child. Please note that this room is only for nursing mothers and infants nine months old and younger.
 

Children's Security / Activities

For our parents / visitors and security purposes, background checks are conducted on all Children's Ministry servants. 

We offer children's activities during our services designed for their age. It is our desire to minister to everyone on their own level. To help us accomplish this, we ask that you would take your children to the appropriate class for their age group.

Children
Our services are designed primarily for adults, so we ask that you drop your children off at the children's ministry. On special occasions, children 5 years and older are permitted in the Main Sanctuary during the main services when accompanied by a parent.

Children's Ministry
Calvary Chapel Cobb has a desire to meet the needs of all children in our body. We have Biblically oriented classes that will allow both the parent and the child to get the most out of their time with us. Each class is geared towards the specific age group in order to best minister to your child.

Child Care - Coupons
In a day and age where the protection of children is imperative, we have developed a "coupon system" for the safety and well being of each child. When you leave your child in their class, you will be given a colored coupon with a number on it. (Only individuals 16 years and older may drop off or pick up a child). No child will be released without the presentation of the appropriate coupon. You will pick up your child in the same classroom you dropped them off in.

Silent Paging
We have a digital display system for our parents, located in the main sanctuary. If your child gets sick or needs immediate attention from you during the service, your coupon number will be flashed on a display. This display monitor is located on top left of front wall of the main sanctuary. We ask that parents sit in an area of the sanctuary where they can clearly see the monitors but also if paged, may have easy access to exit.

Junior High/High School Students

The services are designed for teenage students. These take place in our teen corner located in the foyer of the building. These ministries meet during our regular service times.
